We are fortunate to enjoy unsurpassed beauty from sunrise to sunset here on the Maine coast... even when the weather brings us storms and fog.

Our waterfront cabins and cottage, which are not fancy, have graced great John's Bay since 1922 While a number of modern conveniences have been added, the cozy, homey atmosphere remains the same. Our long-time guests - some who have been come for 50 years or more - always ask us not to make unnecessary changes. We do our best to make them happy.

Although basic, we pride ourselves on immaculately clean facilities and down home hospitality. The private beach and well-kept grounds are great places to make new and lasting friendships or just "do your own thing."

Though most people come to Pemaquid for its natural quiet and charm, there are a lot of things to do and see - some within walking distance and others a short drive away. Damariscotta, the nearest mid-size town, is 14 miles from Pemaquid and offers shopping a movie theatre and much more.
